Heading into this year's playoffs, a lot of the attention was on multi-time MVP A'ja Wilson and the Indiana Fever's Clark.
However, both are now out of the postseason, with Reese instead stealing the show and the headlines.
She most recently scored 30 points in game two of the WNBA Finals, with Lundberg tweeting: "Angel Reese has been absolutely tremendous since she missed that bunny late against the Fever. I don't know if it's related, but she's been a total force."
A fan then responded: "Caitlin Clark has been absolutely terrible since that 2 point game against Minnesota Lynx, I don't know if it's related."
Lundberg then fired back by writing: "This is simply inaccurate hating since Clark had one of the greatest playoff games of all time in game 2 vs Aces. But I know she never leaves your mind."
Clark is one of the biggest names in the WNBA but her notoriety can come with some negative attention.
That negativity is only likely to increase if long-time rival Reese and the Dream go on to win this year's WNBA Finals.
Game three of the series will take place on Wednesday. The teams are currently tied 1-1.
